Libranol series of alkonolamides are a range of non-ionic surfactants that are highly compatible with most surfactant types. The compound is a viscous liquid which produces moderate foam, as well as possessing wetting and thickening properties. Alkanolamines commonly possess applications for the personal care industry, in products such as shampoo and other soaps; as well as a variety of cleaning products in the household, industrial, and institutional cleaning sectors.

Libradet: formulated products are a synergistic blend of surfactants and foam stabilisers. Its ability to create a high-foaming product with consistent bubble size means it is well-suited to the production of lightweight foamed concrete.

Libranox series of amine oxides are excellent detergents and cleaners for global cleaning industries and sectors. The series can be applied to cleaning products, they perform as excellent detergents, as well as providing excellent foam boosting and foam stabilising properties. When used in combination with anionics like sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLES), the detergency effect of the formulation is increased. The products are also extensively used with both sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide to produce bleach based products. The dense, stable foam produced can be used in the formulation of high alkalinity cleaning compounds.

Libraphos series of phosphate esters from Libra Speciality Chemicals are anionic surfactants, suitable for use in a wide range of applicants and industries. The Libraphos series are 100% active anionic surfactants and are based on alcohols, aromatic ethoxylates or alcohol ethoxylates. Libraphos phosphate esters are manufactured by either a polyphosphoric acid route giving predominantly mono esters or by a phosphorous pentoxide route to give predominantly di-esters. These phosphate esters can then be neutralised to achieve a variety of salts. The Libraphos series of surfactants may be used in a number of applications due to their stability at high temperatures or in acidic or alkaline conditions. These attributes offer significant advantages over other surfactants.

The Libranone series contains a range of nonionic surfactant dilutions together with a number of formulated products for use in a wide range of industrial applications. Our range of Alcohol Ethoxylates can be ingredients in a range of formulations in global industries. The range is an environmentally friendly and acceptable alternative with strong performance features that improve on previous products like Alkyl Phenol Ethoxylates that have been phased out of the surfactant market.

Libraquat PQ7 by Libra Speciality Chemicals, is a Polycationic copolymer of acrylamide and diallyldimethylammonium chloride. Polyquaterium is the International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients designation for several polycationic polymers that are used in the personal care industry. Libraquat is a cationic water soluble copolymer with excellent cleaning abilities within personal care (specifically, hair care). Our PQ7 is a very effective polymer within its applications and Libra’s technical department is able to ensure the highest quality of product that matches specifications. The relatively small amounts of PQ7 required within formulation make this a highly efficient and cost effective product.

Libranone DPS is a non ionic surfactant consisting of castor oil with 40 moles EO. Libranone DPS formulation appears as a clear amber liquid and is widely recognized for its exceptional compatibility with soaps, anionic, cationic, and other non-ionic surfactants.

Libratex DOS60E is a clear/slightly hazy pale yellow liquid formulation featuring 60% di-octyl sulphosuccinate in water/ethanol. This versatile product is widely recognized for its role in oil and solvent emulsification, especially when combined with nonionic surfactants, resulting in improved high-temperature stability. Additionally, Libratex DOS60E is utilized as a dispersant in various applications, including coatings, inks, and latex emulsions, contributing to the creation of stable and effective formulations.

Libranone P4 is a clear liquid formulation containing phenol with 4 moles of EO. Its primary role is serving as a co-solvent in surfactant formulations. However, this versatile product finds applications in various fields, including detergents, foaming agents, emulsifiers, hydrotropes, low foamers, and antifoams. Additionally, it plays crucial roles in the oil and gas industry, acting as dispersants, emulsifiers, foamers, wetting agents, anti-corrosives, and lubricant aids.

LibraCare APG 0814-64 is a nonionic surfactant with versatile applications, particularly serving as a surfactant in the cosmetic and cleaning industries. Identified under cosmetic ingredient functions, it functions as a mild surfactant with low toxicity and superior performance. This surfactant is derived from renewable resources, making it high-quality, biodegradable, naturally derived, vegan, and GMO-free. Additionally, it is RSPO MassBalance certified, aligning with sustainable palm oil practices.

Libraphos 1028 is a clear to slightly hazy, pale-yellow liquid containing isotridecyl alcohol ethoxylate phosphate ester. This product exhibits anionic characteristics, making it compatible with both other anionic and nonionic surfactants. Libraphos 1028 is highly stable in acidic and alkaline systems, even at elevated temperatures. It finds various applications, such as enhancing wetting, emulsification, providing lubricity, detergency, and corrosion inhibition.

Libramil 20 is a liquid product containing POE (20) Sorbitan Laurate. It has a range of applications, including its use as a foaming agent, viscosity modifier, and stabilizer in rinse-off hair and body products. In addition, Libramil 20 serves as a key ingredient in detergents, working as a foaming agent, emulsifier, hydrotrope, low foamer, and antifoam. It also functions as a wetting agent, dispersant, emulsifier, and active enhancer in various formulations. This versatile product is utilized in industries such as personal care and detergent manufacturing.
