  • Rosmarinic acid is a polyphenolic acid known for its antioxidant properties. Useful in case of indigestion and dietary eccess, rosmarinic acid is capable of stimulating the physiological action of hepatic enzymes taking part in the depuration process. Improves glycemic compensation in diabetic patients who have excessive daily variation of glycemic rates; by “slowing down” the action of some enzymes, rosmarinic acid allows a slower digestion of carbohydrates, thus avoiding to reach glucose peaks in the blood that require a quick and important secretion of insuline.
  • Total hydroxycinnamic derivatives calc. as rosmarinic acid: min. 1.8% - spectrophometric analysis
