All ingredients are approved for use under 40 CFR 180. Surfactant Content: 8.5% (note the use rate of 2.0% v/v or greater compensates for the low surfactant %). Each gallon contains the equivalent of 3.4 lb. of dry ammonium sulfate.
Features & Benefits
- Product Highlights
- Convenient premix for use with Enlist technology
- Designed for glyphosate, glufosinate and other herbicides requiring a high load of AMS
- Pre-dissolved liquid ammonium sulfate means reduced nozzle plugging and sedimentation.
- Conditions water in the tank and works on the leaf surface to move the herbicide into the plant.
- Formula designed to minimize foaming
- Can be used in place of ordinary surfactants, dry ammonium sulfate or other ammonium sulfate replacement products to maximize simplicity and performance
- General Information
Aquadraft HD is a convenient, all-in-one surfactant and ammonium sulfate product designed for use with pesticides that are impacted by hard water or benefit from the addition of AMS. Aquadraft HD enhances performance by mitigating antagonistic ions found in hard water, buffering the spray solution to reduce or eliminate hydrolysis, and providing rapid and thorough leaf surface coverage for maximum absorption. Aquadraft HD mixes quickly and easily in water and can be used in place of ordinary surfactants, dry ammonium sulfate or other ammonium sulfate replacement products to maximize simplicity and performance
Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Application Technique
- Use Rates
- Aquadraft HD should be used at a rate of 1.25-2.5 gallons per 100 gallons of spray volume. The highest rates are used with Liberty and in tough growing conditions.
- Shake Well Or Recirculate Before Using If Product Has Been Stored Below 32°F. For Use With Pesticides Registered For Agricultural, Forestry, Industrial, Municipal, Noncropland, Rights-Of-Way, And Other Appropriate Uses
- Directions for Use
Aquadraft HD should be used at a rate of 1.25-2.5 gallons per 100 gallons of spray volume. The highest rates are used with Liberty and in tough growing conditions.
The addition of adjuvants to some pesticides and or fertilizers and their tank mixes may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of desirable crops. Before using Aquadraft HD, the applicator or crops advisor must have experience with the pesticide combination, including Aquadraft HD, or must have conducted a phytotoxicity test.
- Applications Rates
- 1.25% - 5.0% v/v (1.25 - 5 gallons per 100 gallons of spray solution).
- Mixing
In the absence of specific mixing instructions found on the pesticide label, fill the spray tank with at least 50% of the desired finished carrier volume. When premixing in a mixing vessel or inductor, fill with at least 20% of the desired finished carrier volume. While the carrier is agitating, add tank mix ingredients in the following order:
- Compatibility agent and/or antifoam, if needed
- AMS, dry formulations (WP, DF, WDG, SP), and dry drift retardants
- Dry soluble and suspension fertilizers / micronutrients
- Liquid drift retardants and flowable formulations (F & FL)
- Liquid concentrates, suspension concentrates, microencapsulated and capsule suspension (LC, SC, ME, CS)
- Emulsifiable concentrates (E, EL or EC)
- Solutions and soluble liquids (S or SL)
- Liquid micronutrients and fertilizers
- Water conditioners and other adjuvants (COC, HSOC, MSO, NIS)
- Finish filling to desired spray volume level and continue agitation

Storage & Handling
- Storage and Disposal
Protect product from freezing. If product freezes, warm to room temperature and agitate before use. Keep containers sealed when not in use. Store in original container only. Do not reuse empty container. Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal. The Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) operates the national recycling program
