MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® MED PA66 1000 19046 has a minimum shelf life of 24 months and should be pre-dried at 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-12 hours depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of less than 0.12%. The recommended processing injection molding melt temperatures are between 270-290°C and mold temperatures between 40-80°C. The base polymer is Polyamide 66, and it features easy release (demolding) and heat stabilization. It is suitable for the packaging, Medical / Personal Care market segments and can be used for injection molded parts of various shapes and sizes.
