MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® PA6 A 1000/199 BK1011-13LSC is a Polyamide 6 base polymer that has fast solidifying, easy release (demolding), and easy flow properties, making it suitable for injection molding. It is laser etchable (blue etching) and is typically used in Automotive market segments for applications such as housings, handles, and functional components. For optimal performance, this material should be pre-dried at 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-12 hours, depending on the moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of 0.15%. The melt temperature should be 250-270°C and the mold temperature should be 40-80°C. To ensure the best results, it is advised to follow the manufacturer's recommended guidelines.
