- Liquid with an available chlorine of 15% m/v (as Cl2).
- Sodium hypochlorite is a clear pale greenish yellow solution produced by a carefully controlled reaction of chlorine and membrane caustic soda lye. The reaction is as follows: Cl2 + 2NaOH → NaOCl + NaCl + H2O
- Sodium hypochlorite produced by NCP Chlorchem remains stable.

- Dosage
- The product is approved by NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for the treatment of potable water supplies at dosages up to 166mg/l.
- ULTRAFLOC 3800 is generally dosed as product with in line dilution at the dosing point.
- ULTRAFLOC 3800 should not be diluted to less than 20% as a stock solution.
- AIHA recommends a threshold of 2mg/m³.
- Under some circumstances, the exposure limits for chlorine may be applicable.
