Lanphos PS5 is an effective APE free surfactant and wetting agent for emulsion polymerisation and water bourne emulsion paints. The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic in emulsion polymerisation is it’s excellent stability in high concentrations of acid, alkali and electrolytes, and its ability to impart corrosion inhibition in latex and in-can corrosion in emulsion coatings.

It contains azadirachtin, a complex triterpenoid, providing a broad spectrum of activity. While not strictly a juvenile hormone mimic, it acts as a potent antifeedant, impacting insect metamorphosis and development. Neem extracts, including azadirachtin, exhibit antifeedant, repellent, growth regulator, and oviposition deterrent activities.

In acidic conditions, it transforms into a quaternary ammonium salt, acquiring cationic properties. Conversely, in alkaline settings, it takes the form of a carboxylic salt, displaying anionic behavior.
