PolyLabs is an innovative chemical production company. Our main area of expertise is development and manufacture of bio polyols - polyols synthesized from renewable materials. Today our production capacity is up to 6000 t p.a. In the next 3 years we plan to increase production capacity to 10 000 tons per year. We believe the future is in renewable resources. We believe we can change the conventional polyurethane industry. In our research we have found that renewable sources are better suited for high quality polyol production than conventional raw materials. Most importantly, these unique advantages do not cost more than the average polyols. In summary - it does not cost more to work in an environmentally friendly manner. Our clients are companies in the polyurethane industry, which value innovative products and are environmentally aware of their actions. They are manufacturers of polyurethane systems (in the industry these are called “polyurethane system houses”), manufacturers of construction (such as insulation material, or foam), shipbuilding, car manufacture, transport, household production units (for example refrigerators, and water heaters), sports equipment manufacturing (like surfboards etc.), pipe insulation, furniture, design, packaging, and other companies manufacturing products using polyurethane.

Our Bio Polyols are high quality bio based polyols synthesized using renewable materials such as natural oils. The best use for these polyols is the production of rigid polyurethane foams for thermal insulation application. Our Bio Polyols have high bio carbon content: 70% - 83%. Our Bio Polyols are available in a wide range of hydroxyl values and viscosities. Our Bio Polyols (TT) contain tertiary amine groups, making them autocatalytically active. By using these polyols it is possible to decrease the needed catalyst amount in a polyol composition. 
The advantage over other polyols is that hydroxyl groups in our Bio Polyols are up to 100 % primary. This means a 3x faster reaction than polyols with secondary hydroxyl groups. Our method of Bio Polyol production insures that all carboxylic compounds in natural oils are transferred into polyols while the other common method of polyol synthesis from natural oils is the epoxidation of double bonds, which introduces hydroxyl groups only to the unsaturated residue in the oils.

BioPolyol

BioPolyol TT is a bio based polyol mainly for rigid polyurethane foam production. For rigid foam production this polyol is used in mixture with cross-linking polyols whose functionality is at least five. Our suggested ratio between Bio Polyol TT and cross-linking polyol is approx. 80:20 by mass. Polyol is synthesized from tall oil. It contains primary hydroxyl functional groups and tertiary amine groups. This polyol is catalytically more active and can be used for spraying PUR formulations. Polyol is difunctional and Natural Oil Based with estimated bio carbon content ~ 70 %.

BioPolyol TT

BioPolyol TD is a bio based polyol, mainly for rigid PU foam production. For rigid foam production this polyol is used in mixture with cross-linking polyols whose functionality is at least five. Our suggested ratio between Bio Polyol TD and cross-linking polyol is approx. 80:20 by mass. Polyol is synthesized from tall oil. It contains only primary hydroxyl functional groups. Polyol is difunctional and Natural Oil Based with estimated bio carbon content ~ 80 %.

BioPolyol TD

BioPolyol RD is a bio based polyol, mainly for rigid PU foam production. For rigid foam production this polyol is used in mixture with cross-linking polyols whose functionality is at least five. Our suggested ratio between Bio Polyol RD and cross-linking polyol is approx. 80:20 by mass. Polyol is synthesized from rapeseed oil. It contains only primary hydroxyl functional groups. Polyol is difunctional and Natural Oil Based with estimated bio carbon content ~ 83 %.
