CHEMSET

CHEMSET® EE5201 Epoxy Potting Compound is a long pot life and short cure time electrical resin system with integral resilience. The cure cycle is activated at a temperature of about 45°C. Good fire resistance and electrical insulation properties.

CHEMSET® EE5120 Lightweight Epoxy Potting Compound (Syntactic Foam) is purpose made for use when a lightweight potting compound is needed. Good electrical insulation properties maintained by the siliceous nature of the lightweight filler. Good adhesion and water-resistance are also key features.

CHEMSET® EE5120 Lightweight Epoxy Potting Compound (Syntactic Foam)

CHEMSET® EE5301 Epoxy Impregnating Compound is a three component epoxy system with a variable pot life and gel time. Developed as a low viscosity system for the impregnation of windings the system is also ideal for other potting applications where penetration into small spaces is essential.

CHEMSET® EE5122 Lightweight Epoxy Potting Compound (Syntactic Foam) is developed for producing larger castings when a lightweight potting compound is needed. Good electrical insulation properties together with excellent adhesion, water resistance and durability.

CHEMSET® EE5101 Epoxy Potting Compounds is a Red filled resin system with excellent electrical properties developed for use where a fire-retardant potting compound was required for civil radar EHT units operating at up to 22,000 volts. It has excellent insulation, adhesion and water resistant properties due to the epoxy resin binder.

CHEMSET® EE5102 Epoxy Potting Compounds is a Green filled resin system with excellent electrical properties developed for use where a fire-retardant potting compound was required for civil radar EHT units operating at up to 22,000 volts. CHEMSET® EE5124 Ultra-Light Syntactic Foam is for use where minimum weight or maximum buoyancy is required. Good electrical insulation properties and a long pot life. It also has a low exotherm so is ideal for larger castings.

CHEMSET® EE5210 Thixotropic Epoxy Potting Compound – Black is a two component system with flow-control properties which sets to give a tough, resilient, electrically insulating material. It is resistant to temperature fluctuation and is dimensionally stable even under tropical conditions. It will not cause corrosion nor will it shatter on impact.

CHEMSET® EE5123 Lightweight Epoxy Potting Compound (Syntactic Foam) is a medium cure time lightweight potting compound sold in pre-weighed Semkits to enable ‘on site’ use without having to use metering equipment. Excellent insulation, adhesion and water resistant properties and low exotherm. It gives a pre-determined exact volume of foam in the casting.

CHEMSET® EE5203 Flame Retardant Epoxy Potting Compound is a flame retardant version of CHEMSET® EE5202 designed for potting electrical switches with protruding wires. This resin contains non-volatile materials and is therefore not flammable at normal temperatures.
