Regal Chemical Company K-TEA provides effective control of various green and blue-green (cyanobacteria) algae, including filamentous, planktonic andbranched algae which can occur in slow-moving or quiescent bodies ofwater, including golf course, ornamental, fish, irrigation and fire ponds;fresh water lakes and fish hatcheries; potable water reservoirs andassociated waters (rivers, streams, bays and coves); and crop and non-crop irrigation conveyance systems (canals, laterals and ditches). K-Teais most effective when applied at the first signs of algal bloom.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of Federal Law to use K-Tea in a manner inconsistent withits labeling. Read all Directions for Use carefully before applying.Do not apply in a way that concentrated K-Tea will contact workers orother persons, either directly or through drift; only protected handlers maybe in close proximity to the application area or application equipment while in use. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the State or Tribal agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store in cool dry place.

Container Handling (bulk, tanker): Triple rinse (or equivalent). Thenoffer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in asanitary landfill, or by incineration, or if allowed by state and localauthorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

Nonrefillable Container Handling (rigid, 5 gallons or less): Do notreuse or refill this container. Triple rinse container (or equivalent)promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remainingcontents into application equipment or a mix tank and drain for 10seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container V4 full with waterand recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank, treatment area, or store rinsate for later use ordisposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat the procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling (if available) or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or byincineration, or if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. Ifburned, stay out of smoke.

Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remainingcontents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill the container 1/4full with water. Replace and tighten closures. Tip container on its sideand roll it back and forth, ensuring at least one complete revolution, for30 seconds. Stand the container on its end and tip it back and forthseveral times. Turn the container over onto its other end and tip it backand forth several times. Empty the rinsate into application equipment ora mix tank, treatment area, or store rinsate for later use or disposal.Repeat this procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling (ifavailable) or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitarylandfill, or by incineration, or it allowed by state and local authorities, byburning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

Refillable Container Handling (rigid, larger than 5 gal): Refill thiscontainer with pesticide only. Do not reuse this container for any otherpurpose. Cleaning the container before final disposal is theresponsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning beforerefilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container beforefinal disposal, empty the remaining contents from this container intoapplication equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percentfull with water. Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment, rinsatecollection system, or treatment area. Repeat this rinsing procedure twomore times. If returning container, seal all openings which have beenopened during use. Return the empty container to a collection sitedesignated by SePRO Corporation. If the container has been damagedand cannot be returned according to the recommended procedures,contact SePRO Corporation at 1-800-419-7779 to obtain properhandling instructions.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous.Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is aviolation of Federal Law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by useaccording to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide orEnvironmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste representativeat the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.
