SILTEM™ Resin

Discover range of PEI resins - ULTEM™ resins – amorphous, transparent, polyetherimide starting with ULTEM™ 1000 unreinforced PEI resins, high-performance base material for blends, reinforced grades, offering: long-term high heat capability, dimensional stability, strength and modulus, inherent low FST, non-halogenated FR solution, hydrolytic and chemical stability, IR transparency, stable dielectric properties, lightweight, colorability.

ULTEM™ HU1004 resin, PEI resin blend, healthcare grade well suited for strong, durable medical devices that withstand multiple sterilization methods, offer enhanced hydrolytic stability in steam autoclave sterilization. ULTEM™ 9085 resin, a PEI resin blend, offers robust OSU/FST properties, meets FAA requirements, and may be used in impact-resistant aerospace interior parts, ground transport applications, pellet-fed additive manufacturing/3D printing.

ULTEM™ 2300, reinforced PEI resin, with CTE close to metal, well suited for fiber optic and electrical connectors, bracketry in aerospace and automotive, enable complex designs and simplification of assembly. ULTEM™ 3473, reinforced PEI resin, 40% lighter than aluminum and may support integrated antenna filter units (AFUs) including radiofrequency (RF) filters thanks to low CTE, Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process compatibility, excellent surface metallization performance.

XENOY™ FR Resin

NORYL GTX blends polyamide (PA) and modified polyphenylene ether polymer (PPE) technology. It combines the dimensional stability, low water absorption and heat resistance of PPE polymer with the chemical resistance and flow of PA polymer. The result is an extremely chemically resistant material with the stiffness, impact resistance and heat performance required for on-line painting. The low density of unfilled NORYL GTX resin can provide part-weight savings of up to 25% over glass or mineral filled resins.

NORYL GTX™ Resin

The NORYL family of modified PPE resins consists of amorphous blends of PPO™ resin (polyphenylene ether) and polystyrene. They combine the inherent benefits of PPO resin (affordable high heat resistance, good electrical properties, excellent hydrolytic stability and the ability to use non-halogen FR packages), with excellent dimensional stability, good processibility and low specific gravity.NORYL resins offer a good balance of mechanical and chemical properties, and may be suitable for a wide variety of applications

LEXAN™ VISUALFX™ Resin FXD144R

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL PPE 640 powder is a medium-high molecular weight polymer based on Polyphenylene Ether (PPE). This material is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as Styrenic Block Copolymers. PPE powder can be used to improve properties (i.e. Heat Distortion and Creep Resistance). It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic (typically less than 0.2% water uptake). The polymer is soluble in common organic solvents like toluene, chloroform, and THF. Chemical name: Poly (2,6-dimethyl-, 1,4-phenylene ether) (PPE) Formula: (C8H8O)n Regulatory Status: Complies with the FDA regulation 21CFR 177..2460. Also complies with EU Directive 2002/72/EC. 
This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

NORYL™ PPE 640

SABIC's Specialties Business 10% Glass fiber filled, standard flow Polyetherimide (Tg 217C). ECO Conforming, UL94 V0 and 5VA listing. US FDA and EU Food Contact Compliant, NSF 51 listing. WRAS certification in recognized colors.

ULTEM™ Resin 2100F

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 2100 is a polyetherimide (PEI), 10% Glass fiber filled, standard flow Polyetherimide (Tg 217°C) . ECO Conforming, UL94 V0 and 5VA listing. NSF 51 listing, WRAS certification in recognized colors.This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

ULTEM™ Resin 2100

SABIC's Specialties Business High heat resistant polycarbonate copolymer, provides DTUL of 290F at 264 psi. FDA food contact compliant in limited colors. Effective January 15th, 2008 this grade will no longer be supported with biocompatibility information and should not be used for medical applications which require biocompatibility. Alternative grade HPH4504. 
This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

LEXAN™ Copolymer 4504

Transparent Polyetherimide blend. ECO Conforming. US FDA and EU Food Contact Compliant in recognized colors.

ULTEM™ Resin 1285

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ COLORCOMP™ Compound WQ117945 is a PET based masterbatch for foaming applications containing a nanostructured, non-mineral based additive. Typical usage levels in final foam formulations are below 5%.

Alternative grade HU1100.

SABIC's Specialties Business CYCOLOY HCX1640 Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC/ABS) blend is a biocompatible (ISO10993 or USP Class VI) grade for medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. It has improved heat, flow and impact balance as compared with conventional PC/ABS blends. This grade adheres to our healthcare management of change policy.
