- Foliar Applied Speedfol® Pecan Sp Improves Pecan’s Yield And Quality - Boosting Your Bottom Line!
Research work done with the University of Georgia has shown that a regular program spraying foliar applications of Speedfol® Pecan SP, tank mixed along with standard pesticide sprays, increases nut retention, nut size, and meat yield percentage—ultimately boosting the grower’s bottom line. This was a two year trial performed on well managed commercial ‘Desirable’ pecan orchards in Crisp and Peach counties in the state of Georgia from 2009-2010. A foliar application program of Speedfol® Pecan SP will maintain optimum leaf nitrogen, potassium, boron and zinc levels, helping growers reach their goals of increasing the yield and quality of their pecans, thus obtaining premium pricing for their crop year after year.
