Suzanne's Specialties, Inc. is a producer and packer of naturally-sweetened grain-based products, including non-GMO sweeteners and gluten-free sweeteners. Since 1984, we've specialized in producing great tasting, natural alternative sweeteners for retail and industry, with packaging and quantities that meet our customers' requirements. All of our fat-free, gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan sweeteners are made with only the highest quality USDA Organic or All-Natural ingredients. They contain no preservatives, refined sugars, artificial colors or artificial flavors.

We don't over-refine grains to the point where the identity of the plant itself has been removed, because we believe that there is a healthy value in retaining as much of the original color, proteins, residual oils, and micronutrients of the grains as possible. Our products are truly sweetened the way Mother Nature intended.

Organic 42DE Brown Rice Syrup is a natural sweetener produced by steeping brown rice with natural enzyme preparations, which convert the mashed grain into a smooth flavored and pleasantly sweet liquid extract. The mash is then filtered to remove insolubles and the sweet extract is finally concentrated under vacuum to a rich, heavy syrup having a light amber color.

Organic Wildflower Honey is the viscous, sweet liquid substance produced by honeybees from the nectar of flowers. The bees collect, transform and deposit the un-ripened honey into the honeycomb. This crude honey is subsequently extracted from the comb, heated to effect pasteurization, and filtered through a 150 micron or finer cloth.

Organic Clarified 60DE Rice Syrup is a natural sweetener produced by the enzymatic conversion of organic rice, followed by filtration to remove insolubles and clarification to reduce color bodies. The sweet extract is finally concentrated under vacuum to a white to light straw colored syrup.

Clarified 45DE High Maltose Rice Syrup is a natural sweetener produced by the enzymatic conversion of brown rice, followed by filtration to remove insolubles and clarification to reduce color bodies. The sweet extract is finally concentrated under vacuum to a rich, heavy syrup having a light straw color. This is a Gluten Free, High-Maltose product that is designed specifically for confectionery application.

Organic Infant Safe® 42DE Brown Rice Syrup is a natural sweetener produced by steeping organic brown rice with natural enzyme preparations, which convert the mashed grain into a smooth flavored and pleasantly sweet liquid extract. This material is then passed through a series of proprietary filtration steps which help in the removal of insolubles and heavy metals. The sweet extract is finally concentrated under vacuum to rich, heavy syrup having a light amber color. The final product will have a heavy metal content that meets the governmental standards for drinking water.

28DE Brown Rice Syrup is a natural sweetener produced by steeping brown rice with natural enzyme preparations, which convert the mashed grain into a smooth flavored and pleasantly sweet liquid extract. The mash is then filtered to remove insolubles and the sweet extract is finally concentrated under vacuum to a rich, heavy syrup having a light amber color. This brown rice syrup has been specially processed to have a composition that is fairly low in simple saccharides and high in complex carbohydrates.

This is a Gluten Free, High- Maltose product that is designed specifically for confectionery application.

Organic 10DE Rice Maltodextrin is produced from Non-GMO Rice, which has the added advantage of being naturally hypo-allergenic. Maltodextrins are water-soluble and contribute only a minimal amount of fat with good mouthfeel. In general use, the product serves as an effective carrier for sweeteners, gums, spices and seasonings. It is also commonly used as an effective bulking agent and to promote instant solubility.
