Proper cleaning of a surface will increase the effectiveness of a disinfectant.
- Way Of Action
- Immediately after emptying - 50.000.000 pathogens/cm² (Immediately after emptying)
- After pressure cleaning - 20.000.000 pathogens/cm² (Spray clean with cold water)
- After cleaning - 100.000 pathogens/cm² (Spray clean with MS TopFoam LC Acid)
- After disinfection - <500 pathogens/cm² (Disinfect with a MS MegaDes product)
- Application Steps
- Thorough preparation. Remove all materials and equipment (manure, drinkers, feeders, etc.) from the housing unit.
- Coat all surfaces in the housing unit (and associated materials) with a MS TopFoam product. In cases of heavy fouling, pre-wet the surfaces.
- Spray the housing unit (and all associated materials) clean using a high-pressure jet and then rinse with low-pressure water.
- Every 6 months remove heavy stains containing iron, manganese and limescale deposits with MS TopFoam LC Acid.
- Disinfect the housing unit with products from MS MegaDes range, to kill all remaining microorganisms.
- Rinse the housing unit (and all associated materials) with clean water and allow it to dry.
- A low-pathogen environment is created. The housing unit is ready for use again.
