- Highly Absorbable Polyphenols From Lychee
Polyphenols are known for their antioxidant effects, however they usually consist in long-chain products that are poorly absorbed by the organism. In contrast, OLIGONOL® contains low molecular weight catechin-type monomers and proanthocyanidins, extracted from lychee fruits (Litchi chinensis) by a proprietary manufacturing process. Assimilation of these small compounds was shown by clinical studies to be three times higher than that of conventional, unprocessed polyphenols.
- Health Benefits Of Oligonol®
Research evidence has shown the benefits of OLIGONOL® in the context of metabolic syndrome, a condition affecting overweight people and characterized by systemic inflammation, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia and high blood pressure. OLIGONOL® improves blood lipids and glycemia, and reduces the levels of oxidative stress markers.

- Oligonol® In Sport Nutrition
The properties of OLIGONOL® are of particular interest in the field of sport nutrition. Intense exercise results in heat stress associated with release of pro-inflammatory compounds, as well as generation of free radicals which increase oxidative stress. Both are reduced in athletes consuming OLIGONOL®, leading to better and faster recovery. Besides, OLIGONOL® improves blood flow to the muscles, which allows better removal of toxins.
- Cosmetic And Nutricosmetic Applications
Due to its potent antioxidant effects, OLIGONOL® is an ingredient of choice for anti-aging formulations. OLIGONOL® is suitable for both food supplements and topical formulations. Studies have shown that application of OLIGONOL skin cream was able to improve skin appearance (wrinkle depth, spots) and prevent glycation of collagen, a major contributor to skin aging.
