Acti-Min® PG is a carefully produced, high quality, kaolin clay designed for the paint industry. It is also well suited to adhesives, sealants, and white rubber applications. Strict attention to the clay source and to process control assures a consistently high brightness and suitable particle size for the use in the contractor-grade paints. The naturally fine particle size of Acti-Min® PG keeps the +325 Mesh low and has a higher percentage of particles less than 0.5 microns compared to coarser clays. This size distribution allows the paint formulator to maximize the hiding power of titanium dioxide (TiO2), while reducing overall formulation cost.
