Crystic® Fire Retardant Resin 5046PA is a filled, orthophthalic, pre-accelerated, unsaturated polyester resin suitable for fire retardant applications. It is designed for manufacturing composite parts using hand layup or injection processes. This product is ideal for demanding applications in buildings, public transport, and railways. It has excellent fire resistance and a Q rating of 0.53, achieving M1/F2 standards as a fully cured laminate with Gelcoat 967 PA FR. This product has a low viscosity, which lowers consumption and enhances suitability for RTM processes. The low styrene content also provides better comfort for users, and the stability provides low filler sedimentation. Pigments and additional fillers can be added to this resin. However, their effects should be tested in workshop conditions before being added to the formulation.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 1124PA is an orthophthalic, low-viscosity, unsaturated polyester resin. It is supplied as a solution dissolved in monomeric styrene. It has been formulated to give a rapid cure time while retaining a usable pot life and a normal peak exotherm temperature.
