IneaSil 820E is a versatile water-based silicone antifoam emulsion with a high solids content. It is useful in a variety of industrial applications that require a highly efficient product with significant foam knockdown and good sustaining antifoam power. When compared to similar silicone products, IneaSil 820E is unique in that it is much less likely to contribute to any downstream deposit or carryover issues due to the product's free rinsing nature, while still maintaining performance.

    Applications

    Product dosage and locations will vary with individual applications. Generally, IneaSil 820E should be added prior to foaming situations but avoiding high shear after the addition point if possible. IneaSil 820E is may be added neat, or as a lower solids dilution with water. Short term dilutions are stable for immediate use, however for dilutions requiring storage greater than 24 hours proper back thickening is needed.
