- SETAQUA® ECO 6450 is specifically recommended for use in high gloss coatings exhibiting excellent tannin bleed and exterior durability. The tannin blocking characteristics of Setaqua 6450 enable good tannin block with low levels of zinc oxide, ensuring the optimum gloss development in products employing this polymer. A start point formulation is available for optimized performance providing high gloss levels with or without inclusion of zinc oxide.
- SETAQUA® ECO 6450 is also recommended for many substrates including direct application to masonry surfaces, various metals, fiber cement sheeting and unpainted timber. Furthermore, advantage can be taken of the excellent tannin block properties and ability to tolerate high pigment loadings make ideally suited to applications such as factory applied machine primer/undercoats for new timber
