Dermol JOBA is an emollient ester similar to the natural oil derived from waterfowl. It is an odorless, colorless liquid made from a blend of naturally derived saturated alcohols and a branched acid. The branching on the acid gives liquidity to the ester. Dermol JOBA exhibits unique characteristics including a low freeze point, good penetrating power, and excellent solubility. In addition, it is compatible in a wide variety of ingredients such as silicones, esters, mineral and vegetable oils.
Dermol JOBA spreads evenly on the skin to impart velvety softness. When incorporated into various creams and lotions, it leaves a long-lasting luxurious feel on the skin. It also exhibits excellent adhesion properties which permits it to function as a waterproofing agent.
