Applications

Apcoflex® N5 is designed to have high strength and high oil resistance because of its high Mooney viscosity and high acrylonitrile content. The polymer has low nerve and hence has good extrusion and calendaring properties. The polymer as such and in form of blends with other compatible elastomers is suited for production of hoses, tubes, covers and belts. The co-polymer has high MEK solubility and is specifically recommended for use in cements, adhesives, grouts, spreading applications such as printing blankets and friction material such as brake lining etc.

Safety & Health

safe

Apcoflex® N5 may contain traces of residual monomers, which may be released during processing at high temperatures. Therefore adequate ventilation should be employed in the processing areas.
