Aureosan®

Aureosan® is an active ingredient which is found in the lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus gasseri DSM25908 that effectively and precisely binds Staphylococcus aureus , including resistant strains (MRSA), and removes them from skin and mucous membrane lesions. aureosan® is suitable for the treatment of chronic wounds as well as for cleaning skin areas colonized by S. aureus , such as those found in neurodermatitis and acne skin. Aureosan® also represents a solution for the increasingly urgent hygiene requirements in hospitals, clinics and care facilities, when multi-resistant germs from patients, care staff and visitors have to be removed non-antibiotically.
