- Burcoterge PAO-35 is compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants. The product is not compatible with cationic surfactants.
- Burcoterge PAO-35 can be used in up to 20% active sodium hydroxide.
- With 2.5% or less Burcoterge PAO-35 in a formulation, the available chlorine should be 80% or greater than the same formulation without surfactant. Even the formulation without surfactant will probably lose 25% of the available chlorine within 2-3 months.

Burcoterge PAO-35 is subject to a Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) under 40CFR 721.8100 and cannot be used in consumer products at an active level over 5% (14% Burcoterge PAO-35 as is) without making notification to the EPA at least 90 days prior to use.
