Our GlucoSol polymer series features low- and high-viscosity options that each provide lump-free mixing characteristics. GlucoSol 800 is a specialty solution tailored to the adhesives industry that is designed to enhance high-solid, low-viscosity formulas.

These anionic starch-based polymers are cold-water soluble, high-viscosity adhesives that provide excellent adhesion and thickening properties. GlucoStar products also have good shear stability, electrolyte stability, excellent film clarity and combined tack and slip properties—all the right characteristics for wall covering, adhesive and paper-bag adhesive products.

FiberStar polymers are cold-water soluble, low-viscosity, non-ionic polymers that are natural polysaccharides. They’re designed to enhance functional properties, including adhesion/binding, water retention, rheology and viscosity. FiberStar P+ is an excellent product for binding and adhesive applications where economics is important. FiberStar P+ is a cost-effective corn-based product with excellent binding and adhesion properties.

GlucoStar® 1748N is a cold-water soluble, high viscosity polymer for use in industrial applications. This polymer is a modified, high molecular weight, natural polysaccharide designed to impart enhanced functional properties including: viscosity, rheology modification, solution stability, salt tolerance, surface activity and water retention. The ultra-high viscosity and high solubility of GlucoStar 1748N make it particularly suited for use as a viscosifier and binder in adhesive formulations. In addition, it has excellent tack and film clarity. GlucoStar 1748N is particularly suited for use in wallcovering, outdoor advertising and paper bag adhesives. GlucoStar 1748N is not treated with a preservative

It is a substituted natural polysaccharide designed to impart enhanced functional properties including: solution stability, surface activity, water retention, improved rheology and viscosity. GlucoStar C500F-HV also offers a unique alternative to competitive natural and synthetic water-soluble polymers. GlucoStar C500F-HV is specifically designed for use as a viscosifier in vat dyestuffs for textile flat goods printing applications. In addition, the ultra-low level of insoluble particles and high viscosity of GlucoStar C500F-HV makes it a good thickener for screen-printing
