- Evidence of Jadeimmune™ in regulating the immunity bidirectionally
a) Boosts Immunity
- We have run 2 pre-clinical studies on the immune effects of Jadeimmune™ on health mice and upper respiratory infection (URI) rats for 4 weeks respectively.
- Compared to the placebo, Jadeimmune™ saw an increase in the expression of IgG, IgM, sIgA and interleukins, and promoting the recovery from cold symptoms.
- Additionally, the effect of JadeImmune™ in enhancing immunity is superior to the competitor products, such as the yeast ß glucan (Wellmune®), yeast ferment (Epicor®) and Echinacea angustifolia root extract.
JadeImmune™ can boost immunity and improve symptoms of cold through increasing
the expression of immune factors.b) Relieves Allergic Rhinitis (AR)
- Our preclinical study has shown that Jadeimmune™ significantly decreases the number of eosinophils found in nasal mucus.
- Eosinophils is a type of white blood cell that causes tissue to break down that contribute to inflammation.
- Jadeimmune™ has also been shown to inhibit the release of histamine, which is the body's response for an allergic reaction thus relieving symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, watering eyes, and other similar symptoms.
JadeImmune™ significantly reduced the frequency of nasal pruritus by 45% and sneezing 40% compared with placebo group on AR guinea pigs. It is superior to the yeast ß glucan (Wellmune®) and yeast ferment (Epicor®) groups.
- Human Clinical Study
- We are currently running a 90-day, single-center, open-label human clinical study to investigate the efficacy and safety of JadeImmune™ at a daily dose of 1,500mg in boosting immunity.
- 30 healthy adults were enrolled, the changes of biomarkers in blood and saliva will be detected.
- SF-36 questionnaire was used to follow up the quality of life during this clinical trial.
