Features & Benefits

Product Highlights

CLiQFLOW 601 improves sag resistance and prevents settling of pigments and fillers in liquid and pasty aqueous paints or construction systems. In powder based construction systems like plasters it improves slump resistance, workability and reduces tackiness on tools. It also improves pumpability of coarse construction systems, thus resulting in less abrasion and longer machine lifetime.

CLiQFLOW 601 is best used in systems with a pH between 6 and 12. In higherpH systems it will not develop its rheological active structure.

Applications & Uses

Coating Type
Level of Use

CLiQFLOW 601 is typically used at a loading level between 0.1 –1.5% depending on the nature of the system. For storage stability or improved workability a loading between 0.1 –0.5% might be sufficient. Higher loading levels are required to improve sag resistance and mid shear viscosity.

CLiQFLOW601 requires shear and dwell for activation. In can be incorporated as powder at the milling stage of the manufacturing process but also as 5-10% pre-gel in water. The pre-gel can be addedat any formulation step. In powder based systems it is simply blended into the dry powder blend. The clay will be activated sufficiently when the dry powder is mixed with water.

CLiQFLOW 601 is compatible with most binder systems and can be combined with any other rheological additive if required.
