DR. SPIESS CHEM. FABRIK GMBH

The name ‘Dr. Spiess Chemische Fabrik GmbH’stands for a tradition-based specialists with international standing and a high level of competence, providing service on a partnership basis. Our firm was established in 1987, when the thiochemical activities of ‘C. F. Spiess & Sohn GmbH & Co’ were hived off to set up an independent company. What started off solely as a research project after the Second World War became an individual branch of the company in 1954. Today we are a wholly owned subsidiary of ‘GECHEM GmbH & CO KG’, which acquired its shares from ‘Spiess-Urania Chemicals GmbH’ in Hamburg in 2006. Ever since the 1950s, we have been successfully specializing in the production and marketing of fine chemicals used in the chemical industry as intermediate products.
