  1. Add and mix all the ingredients of phase A and heat to 80°C. Mix until uniform.
  2. Add all ingredients of phase B except Zano® to a separate beaker. Heat to 75- 80°C. Slowly add Zano® while mixing intensively until a homogenous phase is obtained.
  3. Add phase A to B while continuing to mix and maintaining 75°C temperature.
  4. Begin Phase C with water, glycerin and citric acid added to a main beaker. Once solubilized, add xanthan gum. Heat to 70°C while mixing until a fluid gel is obtained.
  5. Add Emulgin SG into phase C, then mix strongly.
  6. Using high mechanical mixing (eg. dissolver or homogenizer) gradually add the mixed phase A/B into phase C. Maintain mixing until an emulsion is obtained.
  7. Add phase D ingredients one at a time. Mix again at medium speed, then cool down to room temperature

  • SPF: 37.7 (in-vivo ISO-24444 – 5 subjects)
  • UVA-PF: 15.1 (in-vitro, HelioScience H2)
  • Critical Wavelength: 372 nm (in-vitro, HelioScience H2)

Stability:

  • Oven: 40° C for 3 months
  • Thermic Shock: 3 months (6h + 4°C / 6h + 40°C continuous cycle)
  • Centrifuge: 4000 rpm (10 min)
