Feed grade magnesium oxide is a free flowing, calcined natural magnesite manufactured from quality deposits characterized by high magnesium content. This material plays an important role in animal diets by promoting normal appetites, growth and reproduction. Magnesium oxide also plays an important role in the prevention of grass tetany. Feed Products adheres to AFIA’s Safe Feed/Safe Food guidelines at our facilities. We ensure the material is suitable for our customers’ needs with policies that provide material free of foreign matter. We analyze material in our state-of-the-art laboratory to guarantee quality, Mg levels to spec and proper particle sizing. We have several grades of magnesium oxide, including a Multi-Hearth Furnace (MHF) low dust granular grade, a highly reactive block grade, and a GMP+ rotary kiln grade.
