Goodyear Rubber Company of So. California NITRILE POLYMER

Goodyear Rubber Company of So. California Nitrile Polymer, also known as Buna N is a synthetic rubber, copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. Physical and chemical properties of Nitrile rubber varies depending on ACN content. Higher the ACN content, better resistance to oils, fuels and other chemicals but lower the flexibility. It is used in the automotive and aerospace industry to make fuel and oil handling hoses, seals and grommets since ordinary rubbers cannot be used.

Polymer Name: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR)

End Uses: Aerospace Applications, Automotive Applications, Automotive Interior Parts, Floor Mats, Fuel Pipes, Grommets, Hoses
