- Hair Protect & Care
Hair, which is essentially formed from keratin (fibrous protein) is constantly submitted to different types of alterations (genetic, nutritional, hormonal, environmental) leading to a decrease of its flexibility and resistance. An altered hair becomes dull and brittle. The scales forming the cuticle lift.
The use of beneficial molecules of the galacto-mannan type permits the formation of a film at the surface of the hair making it more supple, more silky and more brilliant.
The simultaneous use of polysaccharides induces the stabilization of bridges in and between the a helices forming the keratin. This translates into a protection and restructuration
of the hair, corresponding to a supple, brilliant and thicker hair.- Activities
Hair is mainly made up of a fibrous protein - keratin - which is developing progressively inside the matrix cells of derma papilla. The part which emerges from skin - the stem - is a long cylinder of keratinized cells whose orientation and biochemical structure ensure remarkable resistance to various deteriorating restrictions and actions.
During its lifetime, hair growth can undergo several alterations, due to exogenous factors (genetics, race, sex, age, seasonal and daily rythms) and endogenous factors (vascular problems, nutrition, hormones, stress and illness).
Gleditschia gives maximal protection for hair, at the same time maintaining its shining and beauty
