Hemp seed, shea nuts, linseed, sunflower seeds: since 1925, these and many other natural products have formed the basis for the business of Henry Lamotte Oils GmbH. From them we extract natural oils and related products such as vegetable butters, waxes, seed flours and oleoresins in close cooperation with partners from all over the world.For around 15 years, the product range has also included certified organic products - today over 60 in number. We have also been a partner of Naturland since 2020. Our customers come from the animal nutrition and care, food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical and technical industries worldwide. The product variety includes conventional and organic qualities as well as vegan, fair or kosher certified goods. From over 90 raw materials, several hundred products are created through pressing, refining and blending with other oils or flavors - often on site in Bremen, either in the company's own production or in its own oil mill. Diverse products, diverse containers: Filling is possible on seven filling lines for end consumers and for industrial purposes. The options range from glass bottles to cans and lidded jars to canisters, buckets, barrels, containers and tankers. The capacity of the tank farm is constantly being expanded and currently amounts to over 1,000 tons. Around 190 employees offer all partners quality, service and reliability. The company is proud of its Hanseatic roots - Henry Lamotte Oils is a family business in which the fourth generation is now involved - and cultivates a holistic understanding of quality. Its implementation is comprehensively and regularly checked by independent auditors. Our in-house laboratory is well equipped and staffed with highly qualified personnel. Research for new products including legal implications, innovative and customized formulation developments, product use studies and much more take place here - on behalf of the customer as well as on our own initiative. After all, many ideas are born out of interaction with customers from various industries and out of close, often long-standing contact with suppliers in around 50 countries worldwide! At Henry Lamotte Oils, holistic quality also stands for topics such as organic, cooperation in partnership, regionality and traceability. By sourcing directly from our suppliers and maintaining intensive contact with them, we continuously strengthen transparency and trust. In this way, we enable joint further development and stable, long-term business relationships. This reliable basis ensures a high availability of high-quality products for our customers. At the same time, all companies in the value chain can create jobs that provide livelihoods for employees and their families.&nbsp; Our regular personal visits to partners around the world give us an extremely multi-faceted picture of the production conditions of our oils and the working conditions on site. To implement our demands for quality and social principles in the value chain, we also rely on audits and certifications by independent third parties. Among other things, we are audited according to the SMETA 4-pillar standard (Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit) and have been a member of amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) since 2012.

Evening Primrose Oil is obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose (Oenthera biennis L.). The evening primrose is a biennial, herbal plant with a large inflorescence. Its seeds have a fatty oil content of around 40 to 50 percent. Originally native to the north-western United States, today the Evening Primrose is found in Europe, throughout North America as well as the Middle East and East Asia.

Broccoliseed Oil is obtained by gently pressing the fine seeds of the broccoli plant (Brassica oleracea). Broccoli is a vegetable in the crucifer family (Brassicaceae), which originated in the eastern Mediterranean. In addition to the Mediterranean, broccoli is also grown in Germany, Austria, England and the United States.

Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) is a genus of cyanobacteria, also known as blue-green algae, which is capable of performing photosynthesis. It is naturally found in Central America, South East Asia, Africa and Australia in flat, subtropical waters with a high salt content. The alga is primarily obtained from controlled aquaculture.

Chlorella (Chlorella sp.) is a spherical green alga that mainly thrives in freshwater. It is found in bodies of water all over the world and is well suited for commercial cultivation. Chlorella is primarily obtained from controlled aquaculture.

Rose Hip Oil is obtained from the seeds of rose hips, which grow exclusively on wild rose bushes (Rosa canina L., Rosa rubiginosa and Rosa moschata) as so-called ovaries. Rose hips are harvested during dry weather when the fruit begin to ripen and take on their typical red color. The plant is native to Europe, but is cultivated in the temperate zones of America, Asia and Africa.

St. John`s Wort Oil is an oil maceration that is made from the fresh blossoms of spotted St. John`s Wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) and a carrier oil. The plant was originally native to Europe, western Asia and northern Africa, and now grows around the world.

Borageseed Oil is obtained from the seeds of the borage plant (Borago officinalis). Borage is an annual plant and belongs to the Boraginaceae family. The seeds contain around 30 percent oil. Borage was originally native to the Mediterranean, but is now found in both cultivated and wild form in Canada, Eastern Europe, the UK, New Zealand and China.
