Lanspec TD01 has been specifically developed for any application that requires the use of a surfactant under normal condition but requires the loss of surfactant properties upon heating. This product has good wetting, foaming and detergency but will lose all its surfactant properties when heated above 120°C -or above 100°C (steam) for over 2 hours.

    Thermodegradablity of Lanspec TD01

    Some coatings applications require the use of surfactants during processing but would prefer the loss of surface activity in the film or coating to help reduce water sensitivity.

    Storage & Handling

    Storage Information

    Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Lanspec TD01 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination. This material can separate on standing and at low temperatures. May require agitation and warming prior to use.
