Assay of Vitamins Vitamin Specification NLT/g
Natural Vitamin Biotin as Total Food Biotin from holy basil and sunflower seed kernel 2% Test method: EASI-CHE-SOP-70
- Being vitamins and minerals standardized from natural sources, the specification of actives are ‘Not Less than (NLT)’ and the analytical results may be variable above NLT even to an extent of 100% or more.
- Analytical variance of ≥ 10% of the actives lower than NLT claim shall be considered as a trigger for rejection handling

Technical Details & Test Data
- Manufacturing Process
Natural product based processing:
Hydro distilled and Detoxified raw material is hydrolysed with papain to release protein bound biotinyl peptides and collected in the collection vessel. Further the remains of raw material is further acid hydrolysed to capture free biocytin and biotinyl esters in the second stage. In the final stage the precursors of biotin is tapped enzymatically. The hydrolysates from all the three stages are collected, concentrated and vacuum dried.
