Lehigh offers MicroDyne™ MRPs in a range of particle sizes – from 830 microns (20 mesh) to 50 microns (300 mesh) – to fit a wide array of applications. Currently, Lehigh’s customers have deployed MicroDyne™ MRPs in plastics, asphalt, construction, coatings and other applications as well. MicroDyne™ can be made from tire rubber material, natural rubber, nitrile rubber, butyl rubber or EPDM rubber.

MicroDyne™ 50

MicroDyne™ 50 is a free flowing powdered material that easily disperses in many substrates (e.g., plastic resins, adhesives, sealants, coatings) and can provide significant cost savings while providing the same or improved performance. Its fine particle size provides a smooth surface appearance on finished products and is a “green” material made from end-of-life tires. A free flowing black powder produced from recycled rubber material as defined by ASTM D 5603-01 Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4.
