The founder of Misco, Richard Gable, was a research chemist for Armstrong Cork & Seal Company prior to purchasing the assets of the Miller Soap Company, which became the Misco acronym. Richard saw the need for a company to supply floor coatings and chemicals to strip the coatings off of composite vinyl tile floors. He began manufacturing and selling floor care chemicals in April, 1962. His research at Armstrong gave him a strong knowledge base in this area, and it was possible to begin formulating products based on customer’s needs and thus MISCO PRODUCTS Corporation was born. Misco Products Super Blue PF – PF8 is a combination of synthetic detergents for multi-purpose cleaning of any surface not harmed by water. Safely and thoroughly performs all cleaning applications including removal of heavy grease and soil. Works equally well in hard or soft, hot or cold water. This moderate foam formula leaves a clean, film free surface, making it the ideal product for scrub and recoats. When used as directed, this all-purpose cleaner aggressively removes embedded soils and scuffs in the top layers of floor finish, and prepares the surface for re-coating with minimal rinsing required.

Misco Products Back Down – BDN is ideal for conditioning floors after stripping, this product is a mild acid detergent designed to neutralize and remove excess alkalinity on resilient tile and other floor surfaces. Highly concentrated for economic use and will leave no residue. Not recommended for use on marble, polished stone or other acid sensitive surfaces.

Misco Products La Bamba – LMP is a cleaner with a long lasting lavender fragrance. This product is to be diluted up to 2 ounces per gallon and its neutral pH will not damage any surface not harmed by water. No residue left behind, no need to rinse.

Misco Products All Surface Neutral Cleaner – E07 is a low toxicity, low VOC, readily biodegradable, concentrated floor cleaner that is specially designed for everyday floor cleaning. It removes routine soils from all types of floors. Excellent for use in mop and bucket cleaning or automatic floor scrubbers. Neutral pH will not harm floor finishes. No rinsing required. May also be used as a light duty spray and wipe cleaner for multiple surfaces not harmed by water.

Misco Products General Purpose Cleaner – E18 a readily biodegradable, very low toxicity and VOCs, environmentally responsible general purpose cleaner. Safely and thoroughly performs all cleaning applications including removal of heavy grease and soil. This moderate foam formula leaves a clean, film free surface, making it the ideal product for scrubbing and recoating without the use of harmful chemicals, such as: phosphates (promote algae blooms), EDTA (carcinogen) and NPE (harmful biodegradable intermediate). When used as directed, this general purpose cleaner aggressively removes embedded soils and scuffs in the top layers of floor finish, and prepares the surface for re-coating with minimal rinsing required.

Misco Products Emerald – EME is a totally synthetic floor cleaner designed for daily use in any floor maintenance program. It’s slightly acidic pH will not damage the gloss or film of any finish and is effective at neutralizing harsh cleaner residue on the floor. Contains optical brighteners to enhance the beauty of the floor when it dries. Controlled foam makes this product ideal for use in automatic scrubbers. Will dissolve all ice melt and hard water films, and will never leave the floor with a soap haze.

Excellent for use prior to applying water based coatings- as conventional floor cleaners leave a detergent residue that can cause adhesion and wear problems. This water based wood floor cleaner is also designed for daily tacking or damp mopping to remove soils and excess mop treatment.

Misco Products Ice Melt Remover – ARB is an all-purpose cleaner used to condition floors and remove ice melt residue, hard-water build-up, and soap haze from all surfaces. Designed to dissolve all ice melt chlorides, soap and hard water films as well as scum, scale, and other organic residues. When used as directed, it will not harm any surface not affected by water. Highly concentrated and economical to use.
