"MP3 was born in Emilia in 1978 and since its foundation it has specialized in the supply of products in traditional plastic materials (PS, PP and PET) to which are added sheet products (ABS, ABS / PMMA, PMMA and PS), changing locations several times to adapt to the expansion of its productivity.

In 1991 the ILPA srl Group, today a leader in the plastic sector, made it one of its two divisions together with ILIP srl, a company specialized in the production of finished products mainly used in the food sector. It will then become MP3 srl in 2016.

The current Valsamoggia plant was inaugurated in 1998 , thus reaching an area of ​​80,000 square meters and a covered area of ​​45,000 square meters. The production capacity, the result of the most modern plants in the sector, is now 78,000 tons / year, of which 72% is destined for export.

In the 2000s the company refines the quality of its products by obtaining important national and international certifications such as ISO 9001 and BRC , renewed year after year with ever better results.

In 2012 ILPA acquired control of AMP Recycling, a company with a long tradition in the field of plastic materials processing.

This allows the Group to integrate thermoforming and extrusion activities with a significant plastic material recycling plant dedicated to the recovery of PET from separate waste collection, guaranteeing a perfect Circular Economy."

MP3 PS MP FR85 is obtained by means of an extrusion process of one or more layers of shock proof polystyrene (HIPS). It is characterized by high mechanical strength with good resistance also at low temperatures. Because of the high stress-cracking resistance to some halogenated hydrocarbons used in polyurethane insulating foam formulations, MP FR 85 is particularly suitable for extrusion of sheets for thermoforming for refrigerator cold rooms and counter doors.

MP3 ABS / PMMA Acrylac TM08 sheets are designed with a satin effect and a very pleasant texture, extremely resistant to thermoforming and designed to preserve their main esthetic features even after thermoforming. It has a satin matt finish &amp; available in a wide range of colors.

MP3 ABS / PMMA Acrylac ETM sheets are designed with a satin effect and a very pleasant texture, extremely resistant to thermoforming and designed to preserve their main esthetic features even after thermoforming. It has a ultra satin matt finish &amp; available in a wide range of colors.

MP3 ABS / PMMA ACRYLAC ETM

MP3 ABS / PMMA Acrylac TX 600 is obtained through an extrusion process of ABS layers (co polymer of Acrylonitrile, Butadiene and Styrene) and PMMA (polymer of Methyl Methacrylate). The selection of materials allows us to obtain a composite sheets featuring a very good mechanical strength, good rigidity and excellent physical properties. The PMMA layer gives the product an excellent appearance, high resistance to abrasions and protection against UV rays in outdoor applications, thereby slowing down aging and color change. The material conforms to UNI-EN 13559 norms (Specifications for impact modified coextruded ABS/Acrylic sheets for bath and shower trays for domestic purposes).

MP3 PS MP STIR is obtained by means of an extrusion process of one or more layers of shock proof polystyrene (HIPS) with variable mechanical properties. It is extruded in a vast range of colors, one- or two-color, glossy, semi-glossy and matt, smooth and in different embossing grains. It may come with UV protection treatment, which slows down aging and color change. It is manufactured in compliance with the requirements of DIRECTIVE 2002/72/EC (Plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and its amendments, accompanied by the relative declaration of suitability).

It is characterized by average mechanical strength, high rigidity and good physical properties. It is extruded in sheets in a vast range of colors, glossy or matt, smooth and in different embossing grains. It may come with UV protection treatment, which slows down aging and color change. It is manufactured in compliance with the requirements of DIRECTIVE 2002/72/EC (Plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food” and its amendments, accompanied by the relative declaration of suitability).

MP3 ABS / PMMA Acrylac PX 500 is obtained through an extrusion process of ABS layers (co polymer of Acrylonitrile, Butadiene and Styrene) and PMMA (polymer of Methyl Methacrylate). It is characterized by medium mechanical strength, high rigidity and good physical properties. The PMMA layer gives the product an excellent appearance, high resistance to abrasions and protection against UV rays, thereby slowing down aging and color change. It is extruded in sheets in a vast range of colors with a smooth surface and in different embossing grains.

MP3 ABS / PMMA ACRYLAC PX 500

MP3 ABS / PMMA ACrylac TX700 has ESCR surface characteristic which is extremely resistant to aggressive chemical products during cleaning. It is compliant with standard EN13559 &amp; is available in a wide range of colors.

MP3 PS MP SEC is obtained by means of an extrusion process of one or more layers of shock proof polystyrene (HIPS) with variable mechanical properties. It is extruded in one and two colors, glossy, semi-glossy and matt, smooth and in different embossing grains. It may come with UV protection treatment, which slows down aging and color change. It is a material composed of a percentage of regenerated polystyrene that can be coextruded with a virgin surface layer to improve the finish.
