EDTA Copper 7.5% is most effective when placed in the root zone during planting or moved into the soil by irrigation, tillage or rainfall. It is important that the copper deficiency be treated before visual symptoms appear if possible to insure proper yields. Rates of application will vary depending upon the severity of the deficiency, climate and soil conditions, and method of application.

Soil applications: EDTA Copper 7.5% can be applied alone or in combination with dry or liquid fertilizer for pre-plant, starter or side dress applications. For most effective treatment of row crops, make soil applications in a band at planting time or as a side dressing shortly after planting.
Foliar applications: EDTA Copper 7.5% when diluted with water according to label recommendations, can be applied as a foliar spray. To ensure even distribution on leaf surface, and increased effectiveness of foliar application, a small amount of wetting agent or detergent may be added. Aerial applications can be made at concentration of 1 pint per acre per minimum 5-10 gallons of water. Field and vegetable crops including corn, rice, potatoes, beans, cotton, tomatoes, etc.
Soil applications: Apply 1-5 pints of EDTA Copper 7.5% per acre in liquid starter fertilizer. Rate will depend on extent of the zinc deficiency and soil conditions.
Foliar applications: Apply 1 pint of EDTA Copper 7.5% per acre In 100 gallons of water and spray to thoroughly cover foliage 10 days to 2 weeks prior to bloom. Follow with a 2nd application in two weeks if required.

This product may be corrosive to aluminum, mild steel and brass. Store in HDPE, fiberglass or stainless steel containers. Use only stainless steel, PVC or polypropylene fittings. Store in cool place In original container in a locked storage area inaccessible to children. Do not reuse containers, triple rinse then offer for recycling.
