Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Application
Cuperol is a high-performance lubricant formulated minimize oven chain wear in commercial bakeries. It can be used for the lubrication of bearings, surfaces and chains in baking ovens, curing ovens and conveyor systems where equipment operates at slow speeds and where high ambient temperatures are a contingent problem.
- Method of Use
Cuperol should be applied to cool or warm surfaces by brush, mop, low pressure spray or feed pipes. It should be applied weekly or once every 80 hours of oven running. Cuperol must be applied during the reheating of the oven to allow for full evaporation of its water content (in order to prevent rust). However, the oven temperature must not exceed 100ºC during application. Chain surfaces to be treated should be clean and free from oil, grease or carbonized material and the chain rollers must revolve freely. All bearing and rubbing surfaces should receive a full coating and in particular the sides of each roller, the adjoining links and the central spindle. Apply a liberal coating of Cuperol to close fitting parts or where access is difficult.
