Sphere One’s Extendospheres® are low density, high strength hollow ceramic cenospheres. They can allow the formulator to reduce the weight and overall cost of their finished goods.

Extendospheres

Sphere One Solospheres are semi-solid ceramic microspheres. They are an excellent choice for applications requiring high strength, high temperature, and corrosion resistance. Solospheres spherical morphology are shear thinning in liquid applications allowing formulator to reduce the VOC’s and increase filler loading. Solospheres can easily disperse in a high intensity mixing or dispersion system in plastics.

XOL products are white aluminosilicate multicellular hollow microspheres. They significantly reduce composite density. XOL products are surface modified for better dispersion, bonding and strength. This product offers excellent economics compared to other additives.

HD replaces heavier, more expensive components on an equivalent volume basis.

Extendospheres® HD

Solospheres® S-45 Solid Spheres are semi-solid ceramic microspheres. They are an excellent choice for applications requiring high strength, high temperature, and corrosion resistance. Its high deformation temperature is able to withstand the casting temperatures of both aluminum and steel processes.

Extendospheres® SLG is one of our general purpose hollow sphere grades.
The SL product lines will improve abrasion resistance, modulus elongation, and the flow of paints resulting in a more durable coating.
