"Triangle Coatings’ business began in 1932 as a small, regional paint manufacturer. We offered users quality coatings, quick service, and immediate access to chemical information and technical advice. As we grew, we established ourselves as a reliable and knowledgeable source for standard and specialty paints and coatings made available in small and large quantities. Today, through our expanded manufacturing facilities and modern laboratories, Triangle Coatings, Inc. offers a full line of Architectural & Decorative Paints, Oil Paints, Concrete Sealers, Industrial Maintenance Coatings, OEM Product Finishes, and Government Specification Coatings. In addition, we offer custom formulation and toll manufacturing for customers with specific demands. An environmentally conscientious company, Triangle Coatings is also responsible for developing an environmentally friendly line of coatings, including High Reflective and Smart Coatings, which help increase the energy efficiency of buildings and other manufacturing and construction projects. As a leader and generous contributor to efforts throughout the industry promoting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices and projects, we continue to research and develop sound practices that mitigate our impact on the environment.

You’ll find our coatings on NASA, NATO and National Radio Observatory large antennas; bridges, including the Golden Gate Bridge; refineries, including Chevron Refineries; utility equipment for PG&E; and on thousands of other surfaces for customers around the world. Our coatings cover a wide assortment of substrates and meet global specifications for a variety of customers.

Trilon S

AllPrime is a premium, water based, primer for interior use. AllPrime is manufactured using a 100% acrylic resin system providing good adhesion, water, and alkali resistance, and stain blocking properties. AllPrime produces a moderate film build and is sandable.

Triangle Industrial’s TriPrime is a high performance “work horse” primer with a high solid content. The 902P Series is solvent reducible, corrosion inhibitive and fast drying for iron and steel.

This high solids surface tolerant epoxy mastic provides excellent chemical and water resistance. Intended for application to hand cleaned iron and steel, Tripoxy HB is recommended for submersion in fresh, salt, and waste water, when applied over blasted clean metal.


Tripoxy HB

Pure &amp; Natural is a premium, 100% acrylic, water based, interior finish that has extreme scrub resistance. Pure &amp; Natural is unmatched in performance and esthetics, providing maximum durability and effectively covering hairline cracks. Pure &amp; Natural contains very low VOC and is virtually odorless. This product has a smooth consistency, is drip and splatter resistant, and easy to apply. Pure &amp; Natural protects from mold growth and resists water penetration, providing a long lasting mildew and stain resistant surface. Available in a broad range of colors, Pure &amp; Natural can be tinted to match most custom colors.

Water Based, VOC Compliant*, Fast Recoat, 2-part Epoxy Primer, formulated to provide a quick recoat time to meet high speed production needs. TriBond W bonds extremely well to properly prepared iron phosphate and blasted surfaces to provide durable protection against corrosion and water. Compatible with solvent and water based alkyd, urethane, and epoxy topcoats.


TriBond W

Triangle Industrial’s Liquid Porcelain product family has proven itself time after time as a unique and invaluable tool for tub and tile re-finishers for over 35 years. With a new and imrpoved formula, Liquid Porcelain has increased performance and a lower VOC. This porcelain–like glaze was formulated specifically by Triangle Industrial for the tub and tile industry and can be used on bathtubs made of fiberglass, porcelain or steel, sinks, Formica, faux marble or ceramic tile countertops in the kitchen or bath, as well as shower stalls made of fiberglass or ceramic tile.

Liquid Porcelain

Tripoxy is a 2-part, high solids, high gloss epoxy enamel. This coating cures to an extremely dense and hard finish, without being brittle. Impermeable and insensitive to water, Tripoxy is suitable for submersion service. With excellent adhesion, this coating provides excellent resistance to common solvents, alkalis, and splash and spills from most acids.

TriBond W™ is a water-based, two-part epoxy primer that dries quickly. This primer can be quickly overcoated to meet the demands of high-speed production. TriBond W™ adheres extremely well to iron phosphate and blasted surfaces that have been properly prepared. TriBond W™ adheres well to most non-ferrous metal surfaces and can be applied over zinc galvanizing, inorganic zinc, and most other non-ferrous metal surfaces. Corrosion, water resistance, adhesion, and overall durability are all excellent.

TriBond W™

TriPrime™is a high-solids, solvent-reducible primer for iron and steel that dries quickly. It is intended for use in shop and CEM applications, as well as under all common finishes, including polyurethanes. TriPrime™ is intended for hand-cleaned iron and steel SSPC-SP1, SP2, or SP3, and provides active corrosion inhibition and undercutting protection. It is intended for HVLP and air assisted airless systems, but it can also be used with conventional or airless systems where legal. Most systems require thinning; see the instructions under "Recommended Thinning." Alkyd, silicone alkyd, and acrylic topcoats are all recommended.

TriPrime™

Tripoxy™ is a two-component (1:1 mix ratio), high-solids, solvent-borne, polyamide cure, high-gloss epoxy enamel with USDA approval for incidental food contact. The cured film is extremely dense and hard, but not brittle. It is watertight and impermeable, making it suitable for submersion service. It is resistant to most common solvents, all alkalis, and most acids when splashed or spilled. The 41 series has good adhesion but only adequate wetting and penetration. Tripoxy, like all epoxies, chalks heavily when exposed to sunlight; this is noticeable after 6 months and continues for 12-18 months. Tritpoxey is also available in a clear form.

Pure &amp; Natural™is a 100% acrylic water-based interior finish with excellent scrub resistance. Pure &amp; Natural™ is unrivaled in terms of performance and appearance, providing maximum durability and effectively concealing hairline cracks. Pure &amp; Natural™ has a very low VOC content and is virtually odorless. This product was developed to meet the needs of professional painters. Pure &amp; Natural™l has a smooth consistency, is resistant to drips and splatters, and is simple to apply. This product inhibits mold growth and resists water penetration, resulting in a long-lasting mildew and stain-resistant surface. Pure &amp; Natural™ comes in a variety of colors and can be tinted to match most custom colors. For more information on color options, please contact your Triangle Coatings representative.

Pure & Natural™

Triangle Coatings Epoxy Acrylic DTM is a two-component water-based epoxy acrylic primer/finish that is intended for direct-to-metal applications over properly prepared surfaces. It dries to a tough finish that is extremely durable and performs well. Epoxy Acrylic DTM is a rust-inhibiting coating with a high build.

Liquid Porcelain™ was created specifically for the tub and tile refinishing industry. Liquid Porcelain provides a water and stain resistant finish that lasts for years and can withstand the rigorous service exposure that bath and kitchen surfaces are subjected to. Liquid Porcelain has the highest gloss, gloss retention, color retention, and durability available in today's paint technology. This two-part acrylic urethane dries quickly and has a resilient, tile-like toughness that provides unrivaled impact and abrasion resistance. Furthermore, Liquid Porcelain is water impermeable and completely resistant to most chemical splash and spill contact. This premium refinishing enamel comes in three gloss levels: high gloss, semi-gloss, and low semi-gloss.

Tripoxy HB™ is a two-component epoxy with a high solids content, high build, and low VOC. Tripoxy HB is a high-performance coating for ferrous and nonferrous metals such as zinc, galvanizing, inorganic zinc rich, copper, and brass. This topcoat has good flow and leveling properties. Tripoxy HB provides an extremely high performance coating system when combined with a two-part epoxy primer. When applied to properly prepared surfaces, this product can be used for immersion applications.

Trilon S™ is a next-generation 2-part acrylic urethane topcoat that employs cutting-edge technology. Trilon S cures to a tough, abrasion-resistant film that is resistant to the majority of chemicals. When exposed to extreme weather in exterior applications, this product performs admirably in terms of gloss and color retention. Trilon S meets or exceeds most OEM specifications for off-road vehicles when applied over a high performance primer.
