SYNTHALAT PWM 883 is a solvent- and surfactant-free urethane alkyd emulsion based on medium-oil resin with a residual amount of xylene < 0.1%. This product is suitable as a sole binder for fast-drying water-based industrial lacquers with a reduced number of dryers. Films based on this product show very high pendulum hardness. Also, lacquers based on this product show early water resistance and good chemical resistance against petrol and synthetic fuels. It has applications in architectural coatings, metal coatings, furniture coatings, wood flooring, decorative paints, coatings, and stains.
