Onto™ EP1132 is a range of functional surface treatments that can be used to promote adhesion of two-part polyurethane and epoxy coatings to difficult-tobond substrates such as engineering polymers, high performance (speciality) plastics and thermoplastic composites. The treatment can be applied to a substrate from solution using a range of coating methods to form a functional layer of material that is strongly bonded to the substrate surface. PRETIOX RGZW is a micronized rutile titanium dioxide with an organic and special inorganic surface treatment with aluminum and zirconium compounds, with aluminum ion modification in the crystal structure.

Wayncor™ 226 - Corrosion Inhibitive Pigment is a premium multi-component corrosion inhibitor pigment that comprises distinctly different inhibitive species to provide a high degree of corrosion protection on ferrous substrates. Although versatile it is highly recommended for water based acrylic primers where a high degree of corrosion resistance is required. Typical use level is between 3 – 7% total formula weight.

Wayncor™ 211 is an anti-corrosion inhibitive pigment that is very effective in solvent and water based epoxy primers. It does not affect the pot life of 2K systems. It can also be used alone or as a synergist with Zinc Phosphate. Typical use level is between 3 – 7 % total formula weight.

ADD-3777 is a silicone-free additive having high molecular weight and very broad compatibility. It is designed to reduce the surface tension of various resin systems at substrate interface, which will improve substrate wetting and leveling and prevent formation of craters without stabilizing foam. The additive provides “long wave” leveling performance and increases gloss of the coating system and does not cause any inter-coat adhesion problems. It is highly effective in the transportation coatings when combined with the silicone-based additive ADD-3031. ADD-3777 is suitable for coatings and printing inks.

CURING AGENT W3 is a liquid polyisocyanate, emulsifiable in water. Acrylic and PU dispersion polymers can be efficiently cross-linked with this product.

MECOSTAT-3 surface antistatic agents are highly effective liquid coating materialsfor the antistatic finishing of plastic surfaces as well as for improving slip properties.The coating´s resistance to temperature guarantees that subsequent thermoformingcan be performed without suffering any damage.Furthermore, the antistatic finishing of the material remains virtually unaffected bythe stretching of the material during the thermoforming process.

WPC Technologies Strontium Chromate 176 is the most effective and versatile corrosion inhibitor pigment available. Strontium Chromate 176 is a low dust, low oil absorption pigment compatible with aqueous or solvent borne paint systems and effective on all metals, such as steel, galvanized steel and aluminum alloys. It is widely used in aerospace and coil primers.

Finma-Sil 30X-5EM are aqueous matting agent concentrates with a very broad compatibility in all tested water-based systems, including acrylate and polyurethane dispersions.

raybo 85 Rustib is a cationic wetting agent. Because of its polarity, it is attracted to the metal surface forming a mono-molecular hydrophobic layer. This affinity increases adhesion and resistance to corrosion undercutting in coatings containing RAYBO 85. When added to coatings pigmented with transition metals containing pigments like phthalocyanine blue, insure that the surfactant demand has been met. If it has not, RAYBO 85 will be absorbed onto the pigment, reducing corrosion protection.
