VIVAPUR® Pectin HS RV is a water solvable pectin with a high degree of methoxylation in form of a beige powder. It can be used to form a thermo-stable gel under acidic conditions in the presence of high sugar concentrations. VIVAPUR® Pectin HS RV is an EU approved food additive which complies with the specifications according to Reg. (EU) No. 231/2012 and Food Chemical Codex. KURARAY POVAL™ 18-88 by Kuraray is a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It is designed for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 18-88 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology.

KURARAY POVAL™ 26-80 (Old name: Poval® PVA 417) by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol. It is used as a component of remoistenable adhesives, e.g. for postage stamps. KURARAY POVAL™ 26-80 exhibits specific colloid-chemical and excellent film-forming properties, and a high tensile strength. In addition, the polymers are highly elastic and resistant to heat and organic solvents. Above all, the range of applications is based on the chemical properties, especially on the reactivity of the numerous hydroxyl groups with substances such as reactive resins, aldehydes and other reactive compounds.

Kolon Industries SUKOREZ® SU-230 is a white thermoplastic resin obtained from the copolymerization and hydrogenation of C5 aliphatic olefin and diolefin generated in the thermal-depolymerization process of naphtha. This product offers excellent thermal stability and is compatible with various elastomers, including Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA) and Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS) so this product is used as tackifier resin for hot melt adhesive (HMA) and hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA). SUKOREZ® SU-230 is water white cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. The major usage is a tackifier for EVA, SIS, SEBS block copolymers and metallocene polyolefins.

KURARAY POVAL™ 4-85 by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) having varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. It is a water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is notable for its good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity because PVAs have such good cohesion and good adhesion to fibers, fillers as well as pigments. It shows excellent film forming characteristics, high tensile strength and elasticity, as well as resistance against organic solvents and dispersing power. It is used in a similar manner as natural products such as casein as well as starch and its degraded derivatives (for example dextrin) as raw material to produce aqueous adhesive solution. For the modification of aqueous adhesives its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. It is biodegradable and recyclable. KURARAY POVAL™ 4-85 is used in producing silicon-based paper that are further used as release paper for PSA labels. This grade is also used in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry and films applications.
