STEPAN® MWA-502 can be used as either a solvent or cosolvent in metalworking, die casting, and metal forming processes. NA-SUL® CA-1082 is a high performance liquid rust and corrosion inhibitor for rust preventives and lubricants. It offers excellent solubility in highly paraffinic oils and polyalphaolefin (PAO). NA-SUL® CA-1082 is of moderate viscosity and may often be able to be cold blended into oils. This results in lower energy cost and faster processing. Contact with alkaline materials, cleaners or metalworking fluids may cause gelling of NA-SUL® CA-1082. Compatibility test should be carried out in order to identify any negative interactions.
