Birch Plastics Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a linear polymer polyethylene, with significant numbers of short branches, commonly made by copolymerization of ethylene with longer-chain olefins.

Birch Plastics Polypropylene Copolymer (PPC) Izod is a bit softer than PPH, but it has greater impact strength and is tougher and more durable than homopolymer polypropylene. Copolymer polypropylene tends to have better stress crack resistance and low-temperature toughness than homopolymer at the expense of small reductions in other properties.

Birch Plastics Polypropylene Homopolymer (PPH) Melt is the most widely utilized in the polypropylene family. PPH offers a high strength to weight ratio and boasts excellent stiffness, superior scratch resistance and good chemical resistance against most inorganic acids, alkalis and salts. Polypropylene homopolymer has superb weldability characteristics that allow this material to be used in many corrosion resistant structures.

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) represents the most common portion of the polyethylene applications. HDPE offers excellent impact resistance, lightweight, low moisture absorption and high tensile strength. Additionally, HDPE is also nontoxic and non-staining.
