- Natural 3R, 3'R zeaxanthin and lutein pigments are powerful antioxidants from the carotenoid family.
- Zeaxanthin and lutein are localized at the very center of the macula (the fovea) – the part of the eye rich in rod and cone photoreceptors that gives a person optimal visual acuity.
- Zeaxanthin absorbs high energy blue light.

- It is generally recommended to store carotenoids in a cool, dry, clean and dark environment below 70°F. Keep product airtight, avoid exposure to oxygen, bright light and other contaminants.
- Shelf life is 24 months when stored in the unopened original package in above conditions.
