Designed to impart optimum silicone adhesion to porous surfaces such as concrete, brick, wood, many plastics and metals such as aluminum, steel, copper, brass, etc.
- Surface Preparation
Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface by using solvent and a clean lint-free cloth.
- Application
For best results, the following steps should be taken:
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface as above.
- After the surface has dried, apply a coat of CSL942 primer by wiping, brushing, or spraying. Avoid brushing with nylon or synthetic bristles. Only natural bristle is recommended.
- A thin film of primer will normally give the best adhesion.
- At normal temperature and humidity CSL942 should be allowed to air dry for 5 - 10 minutes. Under colder conditions drying time may increase to 25 minutes.
- Apply CSL RTV Adhesive/Sealant.

CSL942 is flammable. Keep away from open flame and heat. Use with adequate ventilation and avoid prolonged breathing of vapors. Prolonged or repeated skin contact might cause irritation. In the event of eye contact flush well with water and consult a physician.
All work involving the application and use of this product should be performed in compliance with all relevant national, Health, Safety & Environmental standards & regulations.

CSL942 is supplied in 500ml (1.06 pint).
Storage & Handling

CSL942 Primer should always have the container cap replaced immediately after use. Containers should be kept tightly sealed when not in use.
CSL942, when stored in original, unopened container in dry, shaded conditions, away from sources of heat or ignition, and stored at or below 32°C (90°F), has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture.
