Deco-Chem Myflex MFX

The Myflex series is a unique and sophisticated blend of polymers that demonstrates unusual toughness, flexibility, adhesion, gloss, and weatherability. The nature of the system requires uncommon solvents to achieve solution. As a result, the printed film has resistance to a variety of solvents and chemicals. Myflex is especially formulated for and has a natural adhesion to raw polyester film such as Mylar.

Technical Details & Test Data

Cure Parameters
  • MFX will air dry tough in 15 to 25 minutes. Proper air flow through racks will maximize air drying.
  • Force dry may be achieved at 120°F to 150°F 1 to 3 minutes depending on ink deposit. May also bake at 350°F for 1 minute to achieve cure.

Storage Conditions

Ink should be stored in a metal can at room temperature (75°F). Inks previously used for printing runs should be stored in a separate container to avoid cross contamination. Ink has a minimum shelf life of 6 months from date of manufacture if the above guidelines are followed and there has been nothing added to the ink.
