Because of its cationic character and the extremely high polarity of Deuteron LE 100 LV, the electrical resistance is reduced considerably – even when using small quantities.Deuteron LE 100 LV is delivered with an active content of 100 %. The product is free of solvent and of low viscosity. It is characterized by ease of handling. Deuteron LE 100 LV can be processed at room temperature and below without melting or producing a master batch. That is why the product is particularly suitable for solvent free systems.Deuteron LE 100 LV can be used (among others) in PUR-foams (production of shoe-soles), UV- or electron-beam curing screen inks to avoid electrostatic charge. back

Deuteron MK-matting agents are suitable as exclusive matting agents for water-borne, solvent-borne and solvent-free systems, air-drying as well as stoving. They can also be used in printing inks, wood lacquers, UV-curing coatings, coil-coatings, lacquers on foils, aqueous wood- and furniture varnishes.The finer types are suitable where particularly thin dry films are applied or where very smooth surfaces have to be realized. The combination with inorganic matting agents is possible and leads to improved mechanical resistances. Scratch resistance and resistance against polishing will be increased.Deuteron MK matting agents are micro-ground resp. micronized powders. The fineness enables Deuteron MK-products to be used in a wide field of applications for producing satin-flat and satin-gloss coatings. The small binder demand of Deuteron MK only leads to a nonessential viscosity influence, which is important for UV-curing lacquers. Deuteron MK is resistant against solvents and chemicals which are customary in the paint industry. These products can also be used in exterior applications. Adjustments to specific requirements can easily be made due to the different particle sizes, available. back

Deuteron SF 707 increases the smoothness and adds a pleasant grip to the surface. It includes neither waxes nor silicones. The matting effect is smooth, so that the haptic can be adjusted, without heavily influencing the gloss level.Deuteron SF 707 is suitable for systems where smoothness and pleasant haptic is desired in small dosages. Depending on the complete system Deuteron SF 707 can also be used to improve the mechanical resistance. back

Deuteron MK-F6

Deuteron OG 8634 is based on polymethyl urea resin as an effective substance. The resin shows excellent hardness and abrasion resistance. It is resistant to most customary solvents and shows a good resistance to temperatures of up to 200 °C. When used as an additive in solvent-based paint systems, Deuteron OG 8634 improves properties regarding slip and static friction and provides increased mechanical resistance. Compared with wax based, Deuteron OG 8634 does not spoil the recoatability. The small particle size allows for its use in coating-systems which are applied in low film thickness. Deuteron OG 863x can reduce the gloss when used as a surface additive. This can be desired for certain applications. The gloss reduction is dependant on the type of employed binder, the applied film thickness and the selected dosage.Deuteron OG 8634 is designed for the use in aqueous and solvent-based lacquers and in coatings which are applied in low film thickness. Due to the good weather resistance and color fastness of the used polymer the product can also be used in coating systems for exterior applications. This additive is the alternative to wax dispersions with their well-known typical side-effects. back

Deuteron MM 684 is suited for all common coil-coating systems. This includes its utilization in conventional high-quality stove enamels. In addition, Deuteron MM 684 can be used in a variety of applications, preferably in pigmented paints and lacquers.Deuteron MM 684 is a mixture of finest-ground (micronized) materials that is well suited as a matting agent in paints and lacquers. Apart from the good matting effect, special importance is also attached to a low binder requirement in order not to affect the flow properties of the matted system considerably. This leads to a good formulation margin in the processing.Deuteron MM 684 does not contain any wax additives, thus coating layers equipped with it are not expected to cause any adhesion problems in multi-layer systems or repair coatings. back

Deuteron VT 920 is suitable for use as a thickener and stabilizing additive for all aqueous coating systems and technical applications such as waterthinnable lacquers, dispersion paints and plasters, glues, printing inks, silicon paints as well as pigments and filler preparations. Deuteron VT 920 prevents settling of pigments and fillers and separation of the liquid phase during storage. Application is made easier through pronounced structural viscosity. The viscosity sinks when the shear force is increased. It rapidly returns to the starting value when the shear force is removed. The product is compatible with most commonly used binders and thickeners used in the coating industry. back

Deuteron AP 348 is designed for the use in powder coatings.An important feature of Deuteron AP 348 is the low viscosity of the fusion. It is a non-polar polyethylene wax with good toughness in spite of the high hardness. Surfaces of powder coatings containing Deuteron AP 348 show a remarkable slip resistance. This effect is shown by only a few waxes.In some cases it has been noticed that the presence of Deuteron AP 348 in powder coatings improves their flow.
